As we heal + as we grow, sometimes we become frustrated, embarrassed or even angry about what we didn’t know, about what we didn’t do.
Remember, you have been many women. Honor them all. Honor every past version of yourself.
She was strong. She was resilient. She was curious. She was brave. She persevered when there was no map or blueprint to follow. She kept showing up when her spirit was heavy + her light was dim.
She deserves celebrating too.
For without her, there would be no revolution to witness or evolution to celebrate.
